Operator for Manually Controlled Machines

Your Role

As an operator for manually controlled machines, you play a crucial role in our production by performing jig drilling with high precision. Your work involves careful and efficient processing in the jig drilling machine, where you independently work with fixturing and measuring of details. You will also collaborate with others to ensure that all details meet the established requirements. The work is versatile and varied, giving you the opportunity to develop in different aspects of precision machining.

Your Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who is meticulous and strives to meet set requirements and goals. The work is largely independent, so we believe you are self-driven and capable of taking responsibility. We also think you are a problem solver with good analytical skills, attentive, and have strong collaboration abilities.

We are looking for someone with experience in cutting tools and good knowledge of setups and measurements. You should also have a good understanding of reading drawings as well as form and position. Experience with conventional machines and knowledge of measurement techniques and various materials is a plus.

Other Requirements for the Position:

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.
• Good computer skills and experience with ERP.
• Completed high school education, preferably in industrial technology.

The working hours are during the day, and the location is Tannefors, Linköping.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
