About the Position
We are now seeking skilled CNC operators for Siemens Energy in Finspång. You will work in a modern and technologically advanced production environment, where various forms of machining are the focus. The tasks may include milling, turning, drilling, threading, and other machining processes on both manual and computer-controlled (CNC) machines.
As an operator, you are responsible for ensuring high precision and quality in your daily work. You will enjoy a varied day-to-day routine where safety, structure, and accuracy are central components. The goal is to deliver finished components further along the production flow in a safe, efficient, and quality-assured manner. Working hours vary depending on the assignment. Shift work may occur in the form of 2-shift, 3-shift, or other shift patterns.
Your main tasks may include:
- CNC machining and/or manual machining according to drawings and instructions
- Quality control and measurement of components
- Reworking in case of deviations
- Material handling with forklift and overhead crane within the work area
About You
To succeed in this role, we see that you have a technical interest, a strong focus on safety, and a solution-oriented approach to work. You are meticulous, responsible, and enjoy working both independently and in a team.
Depending on the assignment, specific requirements may vary, but generally, we see that you meet the following qualifications:
- Experience in CNC machining or work as a machine operator in industrial production
- Knowledge of reading technical drawings and measurement techniques
- Experience working with high demands for precision and quality
- A humble, methodical, and structured approach to work
- A strong focus on safety – the job may involve handling heavy components
Forklift and/or overhead crane certification is a plus.
