We are looking for a flexible and positive person who wants to work in a seasonal position that combines

• work as a cook/kitchen assistant in our large kitchen
• tasks within cleaning/caretaking such as painting, restocking firewood, and cleaning.

It is a bonus if you also want to work as an outdoor instructor for visiting groups with outdoor activities (e.g. kayaking, hiking, team building)

The position is for the period April 15 - September 15 at about 80%, with working hours distributed according to the needs of the operation. Some periods are more intensive than others. Please reach out even if you can only work part of the period.

The position may hopefully become a year-round position where you as an employee are paid year-round but are scheduled mostly in spring, summer, and fall. Previous experience is highly meritorious.

In spring and fall, you will collaborate with paid staff. In summer, you will work with and mentor our volunteer kitchen leaders. The kitchen is the heart of the farm, and during the summer season, we serve about 140 meals - breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and youth as well as cooking. We believe you like to collaborate and share yourself and your knowledge.
