About the position at Werksta Västerås – Parts Specialist

Do you want to work as a parts specialist in Västerås? Werksta is looking for an engaged and service-oriented person to strengthen our workshop team in parts supply and inventory management. Responsibilities for Parts Specialist at Werksta Västerås
  • Receive and manage parts inquiries from workshop staff and customers, both via phone, email, and in-person interactions

  • Locate, order, and reserve the right parts in our systems and follow up on deliveries and supplier contacts

  • Ensure inventory balances are kept up to date, conduct inventories, and suggest improvements in inventory management

  • Provide technical advice on parts compatibility and alternative solutions to the workshop and customers

  • Handle returns and claims, and document orders and transactions in our digital systems

  • Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure fast and accurate deliveries

  • Participate in improvement work related to processes, customer service, and work environment

Qualifications and who we are looking for
  • Experience in parts management, inventory work, or technical customer service is a plus

  • Technical understanding of vehicle components and a willingness to learn systems and product data

  • Familiar with working in business or parts systems; good computer skills and meticulous documentation

  • Service-oriented, structured, and solution-focused in interactions with colleagues and customers

  • Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written; English is a plus

  • Able to work independently and in a team, as well as manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Driving license B is a plus
