We are looking for
We are looking for a licensed nurse who has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and understood. It is an advantage if you have experience in day surgery and recovery, as well as knowledge of Cosmic and Provisio. Previous professional experience as a nurse in similar settings is also considered a plus.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You are flexible and easily adapt to changing needs, while working in a structured manner with good order. You have well-developed collaborative skills, are service-oriented, and meet patients and colleagues with confidence and care. The role also requires independence and the ability to make decisions on the spot. If you also have specialist knowledge in the field, it is an advantage.
What you will work with
With us, you will work with pre- and postoperative care of patients in day surgery, where you follow the patient throughout the entire care process. You monitor and assess the patient’s condition in the recovery phase and make independent clinical assessments while closely collaborating with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team. The role also includes actively participating in the organization’s improvement work and quality development, where your ideas and expertise contribute to developing our work methods.
The day surgery unit in Gällivare is part of the regional clinic An/Op/Iva, which conducts surgical operations in Gällivare, Kalix, and Sunderbyn. Here you will encounter an exciting and varied environment with a focus on pre-, peri-, and postoperative care. Information about the position
We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date of 2026-04-16 or by agreement, working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
