Operations Technician Wanted at Northern Västmanland Municipal Technical Association

Northern Västmanland Municipal Technical Association, NVK, is a municipal association where the members are the municipalities of Fagersta and Norberg. The head office is located in Fagersta with a local office in Norberg. The association is responsible for the operation of housing, operational properties, streets and roads, water and sewage, parks, forests, recreational facilities, IT, and cleaning services. NVK is ultimately led by its board, appointed by the municipalities of Fagersta and Norberg. The board has overall responsibility, while the association manager is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the organization. NVK has approximately 150 employees and a turnover of 400 million.

Description

We are now looking for an engaged operations technician to join our team.

You will work with the operation and maintenance of the municipalities' properties, such as schools, nursing homes, offices, housing, and sports facilities. The role involves significant responsibility, varied tasks, and the opportunity to influence the future properties in Fagersta and Norberg.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision and maintenance of properties and technical systems
• Corrective and preventive maintenance
• Operation monitoring and alarm management, adjustment of ventilation and ordering of OVK
• Troubleshooting heating, cooling, ventilation, and control systems
• Ordering maintenance and repairs, energy optimization, and analysis of media consumption
• On-call duty is included in the position

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience in electricity, heating, ventilation, or cooling
• Experience with technical control systems and property technology
• Knowledge of energy optimization
• Driver's license for manual transmission
• Local knowledge

Meritorious:

• OVK certification
• Facility manager
• Experience in operating swimming pools and sports facilities
• Property knowledge in the areas
