Become a part of our team

Epiroc in Fagersta manufactures advanced equipment for rock drilling for the mining and construction industries. In our maintenance department, you will be part of a helpful and competent team working with both preventive and corrective maintenance in our factories in Fagersta.

The maintenance team collaborates closely with other departments and functions to continuously develop our production environments and ensure efficient flows – where safety always comes first. Here, you will work closely with production and develop in several technical areas while contributing to Epiroc Flow, where our 6S improvement work makes a real difference.

Your mission

As a maintenance operator, you will work with service and preventive maintenance of CNC-controlled machine tools, such as lathes and milling machines, as well as other production equipment within our facilities. You will closely collaborate with other repair technicians, electricians, and contractors in the daily maintenance work.

The position is organized in a 5-shift schedule and includes, among other things:

  • Troubleshooting in robotic systems
  • Installations, modifications, and programming of machines
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Participation in improvement projects together with other production departments

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is technically interested and has a problem-solving approach. You also need to have good communication skills as the job involves daily contact with internal and external customers. You have a structured and flexible working style where you independently prioritize between different tasks.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

  • High school education with a technical or electrical/mechanical focus
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repair
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and basic English, both spoken and written
  • Driver's license (B)

It is advantageous if you have further education in areas such as automation, electricity, troubleshooting in PLC and CNC systems, hydraulics, or mechanics, or equivalent practical experience from the manufacturing industry.

Placement and travel

This position is based in Fagersta, Sweden. Travel in the local area may occur as part of the job.
