About the position

At the MRI department in Huddinge, we work with the latest technology and strive for high quality in our examinations. We currently have 8 MRI scanners, one of which is Sweden's first 7 Tesla in clinical use. If you are interested, there is an opportunity for further education at an advanced level such as a Master's or PhD.

We perform advanced MR examinations on the upper and lower abdomen, neuro, ENT, and musculoskeletal for patients of all ages (including children), and we are constantly developing new methods. The department is open weekdays during the day and evening, as well as daytime on weekends. We have competent radiographers, radiologists, physicists, and nursing assistants working with us.

We are looking for two radiographers with MR experience, one of whom will serve as a clinical teacher part-time (50%).

As a clinical teacher, you will be responsible for

• Creating a clear educational environment for today's radiographer students.
• Having a key role together with managers and being responsible for the introduction of new staff in the department, as well as supporting and following up during the introduction period.
• Participating in the implementation of new methods and guidelines in the department.
• Actively participating in various projects and quality work, thereby contributing to the development of the department.

As a clinical teacher, we are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in educational and developmental issues.
• Has a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and the different conditions of individuals, and adapts your way of conveying messages to the recipient.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed radiographer.
• At least three years of MR experience.

Desirable:

• Further education in MR and MR safety.
• Supervisor training.
• Master's degree.
