About the company

Almondy is a young and ambitious bakery with lots of energy and exciting ideas. We bake and sell our fantastic cakes and brownies to both grocery stores, restaurants, and large kitchens in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Based in Torslanda, we bake approximately 75,000 desserts daily, of which 85% are exported. Our success is based on quality, delicious taste, and simplicity. We have grown rapidly and set a sales record in 2024 – and we aim to do it again!

We have about 100 employees working in the bakery and the office, and with us, the atmosphere is familial with many points of contact. We take pride in our work environment and strive to create a place where everyone thrives and develops.

Your tasks

As a service/maintenance technician at Almondy, you are an important part of our technical team responsible for keeping our production lines running. You will:

• Perform both emergency and preventive maintenance on the machinery.
• Participate in the assembly and servicing of mechanical and electrical components.
• Engage in improvement and automation projects to optimize operations.
• Handle repairs and ensure that hygiene and safety procedures are followed.

In this role, it is important that you work with a strong focus on safe products and hygiene. In the food industry, quality and safety in production are crucial, and we expect you to contribute to maintaining these standards in your daily work.

You will work alongside a team of eight colleagues who maintain our fully automated production lines. The work is done in two shifts, alternating between day and evening shifts every week.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a high school education with a technical focus and a couple of years of experience in service and maintenance within the industry, preferably in the food or process industry.

You should also have experience in mechanical maintenance and electrical work, as well as a basic understanding of automation and PLC programming. Furthermore, you are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience in dairy or brewery-specific processes, as well as knowledge in machining and/or manufacturing.

As a person, you are flexible and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You see solutions where others see problems and have a positive attitude towards both technical challenges and collaborations. We are looking for a solution-oriented technician with a strong interest in technology and experience in maintenance work within the industry. You are practically oriented and combine structured work with a strong sense of responsibility.
