JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to lead an important support function that makes a difference in the daily lives of our operations within social services and elderly care? We are looking for a unit manager for operational services who, with commitment and structure, drives the work forward both operationally and strategically. The unit's mission is to provide support and service to the operations in matters concerning, for example, functionality in premises, janitorial services, fire protection, logistics, and access control systems.

Within the Social Administration and the Care Administration, there are over 150 operations in healthcare, care, and social services.

The operational services unit is organized under the Social Administration but performs tasks for both the Social and Care Administrations. As a unit manager, you have strategic and operational responsibility for personnel, budget, and operations. In this role, you are expected to lead and develop the unit and ensure good service and collaboration with the administration's operations. In this role, you will work to provide support and service to the operations, which requires an understanding of the core missions of the operations. You will work closely with management and operations within both administrations.

You will have 21 employees to assist you, including team leaders, janitors, transporters, and coordinators in security, procurement, and logistics. The position is organizationally located within the administrative unit of the Social Administration, led by the administrative manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a relevant university degree in organization, leadership, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You have several years of leadership experience.
• Has experience working in a similar role.
• Is social, flexible, and solution-focused. You have good collaboration skills and are responsive to the needs of the operations.
• Enjoys working in a dynamic environment where short, quick interventions are mixed with long-term work processes.
• Has a good ability to structure, organize, and develop effective working methods that create clarity and quality in the operations.
• Has the ability to see the big picture, prioritize, and manage changes with a calm and professional approach.
• With a present and clear leadership, ensures that every employee has the opportunity to develop and take responsibility.
• Has experience working as a support process to operations within healthcare, care, or social services.
• Experience with process-oriented working methods.

A driver's license (B) is required.
