When authorities coordinate their resources and expertise, they can powerfully support people in difficult life situations to achieve self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life. Financial coordination for rehabilitation efforts in coordination associations is a unique operation that benefits both individuals and society.
The Coordination Association Samspelet is now seeking a new chief coordinator for an exciting role focused on leadership, coordination, and development of operations in collaboration with the board and other partners. Here you can read more about the Coordination Association Samspelet (#).
Job Description
The coordination association is looking for someone who has the commitment and drive to coordinate the association's work and develop efforts together with the parties involved. In the role as the coordinating link, a developed sense of diplomacy, patience, and the ability to listen and communicate is required.
The chief coordinator's main responsibilities include:
- leading and coordinating operations based on the board's decisions and instructions
- leading and coordinating the parties
- representing the association at the administrative level
- preparing matters for the board and executing decisions
- establishing governing documents and agreements for the association
- responsible for follow-up and evaluation of efforts
- responsible for financial management, i.e., budget work, invoice handling, operational planning, annual reports, procurement, and administration
- responsible for quarterly and semi-annual reports as well as year-end closing
- supporting the efforts and projects that are fully or partially funded by the association
- collaborating with other coordination associations
Based on the role of chief coordinator, one can be or become employed by one of our partners, which include Karlstad Municipality, Grums Municipality, Hammarö Municipality, Kristinehamn Municipality, Region Värmland, the Swedish Public Employment Service, or the Swedish Social Insurance Agency.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a suitable academic background or experience deemed equivalent for the role, as well as experience in leadership in the form of managerial positions.
You have:
- good knowledge of municipal and administrative law as well as public access and confidentiality laws, and an understanding of how politically governed organizations operate
- experience in leading and developing cooperation between different organizations
- experience working with strategic development issues and larger projects, e.g., the European Social Fund
- good knowledge of both Swedish and English
- ease in expressing yourself verbally and in writing, with strong communication skills
It is an advantage if you have worked within any of the main authorities' operations, including a coordination association.
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in development issues. You plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively and flexibly and are accustomed to working towards given deadlines. To succeed in this role, you are creative, proactive, and results-oriented. You are responsible and have the ability to work independently on your assignments. You provide excellent service with a strong customer focus towards individuals and collaborating actors.
As a person, you are clear, goal-oriented, and strategic, with good collaborative skills. You have high integrity and a well-developed sense of diplomacy. You are communicative, relationship-building, and persistent, qualities that we highly value in this role.
