Do you want a varied and meaningful job where you make a direct difference in the daily lives of residents? Storfors Municipality is now seeking a dedicated Water and Wastewater Technician with electrical education, who also wants to take responsibility for project management within operations and maintenance projects in our water and wastewater operations.

As a Water and Wastewater Technician, you will be an important part of our team working for a safe, secure, and sustainable water and wastewater supply. The role combines practical work, technical responsibility, and management of small to medium-sized projects.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing operation, maintenance, and repair work on the municipality's water and wastewater facilities
• Being responsible for troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of electrical and control systems within water and wastewater facilities
• Leading and coordinating projects within water and wastewater, such as renewal projects, smaller contracts, and technical investments
• Establishing and following up on project plans, budgets, and timelines
• Collaborating with contractors, consultants, and internal functions
• Documenting work and contributing to the development of routines and working methods

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Vocational education in electrical engineering, operational technology, or equivalent
• ECY certificate
• At least five years of experience in water and wastewater, electrical, or industrial operations
• Experience in leading or coordinating projects – formal project management training is an advantage
• Good ability to read drawings, electrical, and control diagrams
• Driver's license (B)

It is advantageous if you have:

• Knowledge of SCADA/monitoring systems
• Experience in contract law (AB/ABT)
• Certification in occupational safety (BAS-P/BAS-U)
• Experience from municipal technical operations

You should have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

You are a reliable and responsible person with good problem-solving skills. You thrive in a role where you can combine technology, collaboration, and structure – and you easily switch between practical work in the facilities and planning/management in project form.
