Care Assistant in Home Care

There is now an opportunity for a meaningful job as a care assistant in home care.

Here you can influence your working hours and be part of a cheerful team working together. You provide a good reception towards both colleagues and the clients we serve.

We are located in the city center, we have both car and walking routes in our area, and in the summer there is also the possibility to cycle.

The positions refer to two permanent full-time employment contracts with start date according to agreement, welcome with your application!

Job Responsibilities

As an employee, your main task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our residents. We work health-promoting with the aim of strengthening the individual's own abilities and ensuring that everyone living with us has the opportunity to live life to the fullest.

Participation, development, and community are key words for us where continuous improvements create the conditions for good quality.

Your tasks include personal care, contact person responsibilities, and social and physical activities together with our residents. We work in teams, which means that many different professional groups share the common goal of creating a good quality of life and a pleasant environment for our clients.

You will be placed at Renens or Centrum home care, and we also collaborate with nearby areas within ordinary housing.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a care assistant or has other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We prefer that you have further education in elderly care and/or dementia or have an educational focus on psychiatry. Experience working in care and support is an advantage.

It is important that you enjoy and thrive in working with people and that you are flexible and open to new ideas and working methods.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You should master Swedish in speech, writing, and reading comprehension as there will be contact with tenants, relatives, documentation, and reading information related to the work.

A valid driver's license, category B, and access to your own car are required.

Approximately 2500 employees work in the welfare administration. During the interview, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Accepted documents are Passport, International ID card, Driver's license + personal certificate from the tax authority, or other ID documents that strengthen citizenship.

We welcome language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sámi varieties as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both Finnish and Sámi administrative areas.

In our municipality, several positions are classified in security class, so a security check may occur. These positions require Swedish citizenship.
