Regardless of your interests or goals, you are always welcome with us. We are now looking for a property caretaker in Uppsala.

As a property caretaker, you will be responsible for the internal and external maintenance for our clients, and you will become part of a team that handles daily management. In addition to reporting issues, residents and clients can request smaller services such as repair tasks in homes and premises. Ongoing contact with residents, clients, and contractors is therefore an essential part of the job. Also included is the management of purchasing consumables and the care of your own work equipment.

The position of property caretaker is a varied and independent job under your own responsibility. Your daily tasks include:

• Managing daily tasks according to an agreement
• Maintenance of green areas and residential yards
• Regular corrective maintenance after issue reports
• Troubleshooting
• Managing daily customer contacts
• Snow and ice control during winter
• Snow preparedness, weekend work

You will work on your mobile phone or computer to receive and report your work. You will work both independently and together with your colleagues, and you are expected to solve the challenges you encounter in your work on your own. You will plan your workday together with your colleagues and your group manager.

You contribute with your skills and engagement. We are looking for someone who is curious, unpretentious, and helpful. We want you to have the ability to see and meet our clients' needs. We want you to be a team player who supports your colleagues. You should have a positive attitude towards your work, our clients, and your coworkers. It is also important that you are service-oriented, quality-conscious, and have the ability to plan your work effectively.

You have a high school education and/or a KY education with a focus on property management or equivalent work experience from similar professions. Knowledge of green area maintenance and gardening is also an advantage as most of the work is done outdoors during the growing season.

A computer and mobile phone are a natural part of the work for all employees at Riksbyggen, so we expect you to have some computer skills and can handle the computer in your job. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills through internal training.

The position requires a B driver's license and the ability to communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

The position is a permanent employment with placement in Uppsala, but work in other locations within the market area may occur. Riksbyggen applies a probationary period. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On-call duty during winter may involve weekend work.
