About the role

As a low-current electrician with us, you will be part of our contracting department and will primarily work on our contracting projects. You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of access control systems, 01 networks, fiber networks, alarm systems, fire alarms, and data networks along with associated equipment.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient and capable of performing their own tasks. You are reliable, engaged in your work, and have a strong technical interest as well as the ability to handle technical documentation. You need to be meticulous, responsible, and able to take your own initiative to solve problems. You should find it easy to communicate and build relationships with customers and colleagues.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Experience in a similar position, as a low-current electrician or telecommunication technician
• ECY certification
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driving license B
• Good computer skills

If you also have experience with access control and alarms, we see that as a significant plus.

About the employer - ELAK AB

ELAK AB was founded in 2010 by two dedicated and skilled electricians - the name comes from "EL Anders Krister". They had reached a crossroads where the idea of starting their own company was born. They valued engaged, responsible employees and the knowledge they create together. Together, they decided to start what is now ELAK AB.

Today, the company has developed into a larger player and has framework agreements with, among others, Uppsala Municipality and Uppsala Municipality School Properties. In 2024, the company had a turnover of 133 million and currently employs about 80 people.
