IGS Assistans AB has recently won a procurement for personal assistance in the Gotland region and is now seeking personal assistants for several assignments on the island.
With over 25 years of experience in personal assistance, we are proud to have earned the trust to deliver high-quality assistance. Our extensive expertise, long industry knowledge, and focus on long-term and respectful assistance solutions form the basis for the assignment and our continued work in the region.
We are looking for someone who is committed, responsible, and professional in their approach and who wants to work with people in a respectful and long-term manner.
About the position
As a personal assistant, you provide individually tailored support to a person with a disability in their daily life. The work is performed in the client’s home and in other environments where the client is present. The tasks vary based on the client’s needs and may include personal care, support in daily routines, transfers, and accompaniment during activities and errands. The assignment concerns a woman in her 50s living in Visby.
We are looking for assistants who are interested in working part-time or full-time.
The working hours include days with occasional hours during the night.
There is also the possibility to work with multiple clients, either within the same locality or in different locations around Gotland.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working as a personal assistant (experience is required)
- Has a nursing assistant education, which is an advantage
- Is responsible, attentive, and has a professional attitude
- Has experience from working in healthcare
- Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Has a driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
- Is able to work flexible hours
Great importance is placed on personal suitability as well as respect for the client’s self-determination and personal integrity. Out of consideration for the client's wishes, we are seeking female assistants for this assignment.
Employment conditions
- Employment conditions according to collective agreement with Kommunal
- Individual salary setting, hourly wage according to agreement

- A valid license must be presented before the contract is signed
- A criminal record extract from the Police (for children with disabilities) must be presented before employment
