In our care services, we assist individuals with various disabilities. We work to facilitate and support our clients in managing practical aspects of their daily lives. The goal is to enable them to live as independently as possible.

We are now looking for a new employee for our service residence on Tvätterskegatan in Visby. Here, you will join a team of experienced and competent staff.

We offer you a varied, responsible, and stimulating job with opportunities for personal and professional development.

Your Responsibilities

As a support assistant, you and your colleagues will work with IBIC (Individual's Needs in Center) as a foundation. You will support, motivate, and assist clients in their daily lives, as well as interpret and clarify their everyday situations. All our clients have specific and individual needs. Some have significant care needs and cannot manage without extensive care and support, while others require more pedagogical support and guidance to cope with their daily lives.

The work is characterized by a pedagogical approach, a clear and structured working method, and a low-arousal response. As a support assistant, you will provide pedagogical and practical support with social activities, household chores, personal care, and mobility. You will participate in the quality development of the services and in various meetings, training sessions, and supervision.

The position includes case management, which means you will be responsible for establishing and revising action plans, documenting, and maintaining contact with relatives and representatives/guardians.

You will work according to a basic schedule with day/evening and weekend shifts.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with an approved education in care and support, child and leisure, social pedagogy, or personal assistance. A B driver's license is required for the position.

It is advantageous if you have previously worked in care for individuals with disabilities.

As a person, you are flexible, service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. It is important that you are confident both in yourself and in your professional role. You have a calm demeanor and a desire to help others while finding solutions in line with the organization's goals and guidelines.

You are proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as all communication and documentation is conducted in Swedish. You adapt your communication style according to your audience and are good at listening to what others have to say.

We expect you to share the intentions of LSS regarding a humanistic view of humanity, values, and good treatment.

Warm welcome to your application!
