The Unit for Service Trips and Housing Adaptation
The Unit for Service Trips and Housing Adaptation is an important part of the Community Building Office and Norrköping Municipality. Here we work together to perform government functions regarding transport services, national transport services, parking permits for people with disabilities, school transport, student trips, and housing adaptation grants. The unit is also responsible for planning school transport with contracted school buses. We collaborate with the education office, bus companies, and Östgötatrafiken, which is responsible for the execution of transport services and certain school transport trips.
We are located at Trädgårdsgatan 21 in Norrköping in newly renovated, lovely office landscapes.
The unit consists of 16 engaged and helpful employees, including three group leaders and a unit manager, who together create a wonderful work environment characterized by good collaboration, accountability, and a strong drive to deliver quality.
Your Responsibilities
As an administrator in the Unit for Service Trips and Housing Adaptation, you are a central contact point for citizens reaching out to us. Your task is to meet them with professionalism, attentiveness, and a high level of service based on their individual needs. Together with our investigation secretaries, you will assist the municipality's residents with issues related to transport services, parking permits for people with disabilities, and national transport services. You will primarily be in contact with elderly citizens who need support and guidance regarding applications, processing, and decisions, as well as simpler adjustments in government decisions based on changing needs.
You will also be responsible for handling cases in our case management system, where you receive, assess, and process cases or forward them to the appropriate function. You contribute to quality and legal certainty by being responsible for the registration and handling of incoming documents.
With us, you will be offered a varied and developing assignment where you can serve the municipality's citizens.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has completed high school education and preferably has post-secondary education in administration. You should have previous experience in administrative work, government functions, and case processing. We also view knowledge of municipal processes positively.
You are a person who works independently and systematically, plans and prioritizes effectively even under higher workloads with a focus on quality and goals. Collaboration is a natural part of your work style, and you contribute with engagement and service in both internal and external contacts.
You are communicative and comfortable in meeting people, even in conversations that may be sensitive or where the citizen is in a difficult life situation. With a professional and respectful approach, you build trust. As a person, you are secure, flexible, and thrive in a dynamic environment where collaboration is a natural part of everyday life.
Does this sound like an assignment for you? Then you are warmly welcome to submit your application!
