Börjes is a family-owned department store where we work to keep the community vibrant. We offer a wide range of shopping and groceries, delicious food and coffee, and many events. Here, we can provide an eventful and educational summer for those seeking a fun summer job.

We are looking for you who:

• Is cheerful, positive, organized, and service-oriented.
• Ideally has some previous work experience, preferably from another business where the customer has been the focus. Above all, a strong interest in delivering good service and excellent customer interaction is required.
• Contributes to the team's success but also takes personal responsibility.
• Can communicate effectively with customers. Primarily in Swedish but preferably also in English and/or German.

Cash handling experience is considered an advantage. We have seasonal jobs in all our departments: groceries, cafeteria, hot dog stand, delicatessen, charcuterie, and the upper floor (e.g., clothing department). Additionally, we have cashier positions.

Work is part-time and scheduled across all days of the week. We have a collective agreement. We are looking for several colleagues for fixed-term employment during weeks 25–33. Most of our summer jobs extend throughout the mentioned period, although with some possibility for time off during week 29. Some of our summer jobs may also allow for earlier entry in the spring, preferably with weekend shifts.

Apply as soon as possible; we fill positions continuously. Interviews will be conducted on-site, and we plan to carry out our interview process during February/March. The final application deadline is set for 2025-03-31.

Börjes Tingsryd is a family-owned department store in southern Småland, between Växjö and Ronneby. In 1944, the sale of textile goods began in a 20 sqm local. The company has gradually grown and now occupies 5000 sqm. Today, the business consists of the department stores and an equestrian sports shop with a central warehouse in Tingsryd, three external equestrian sports shops around the country, and a popular e-commerce site at borjes.se. The company currently has a turnover of just over 300 million SEK.
