We want to offer you a strong introductory year at the medical clinic where you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in our various specialties by being introduced and working in our three different medicine departments over the course of a year. After a year, you will have the option to choose a specialty or continue rotation between the departments.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Do you enjoy working together with others, have a positive attitude, put the patient at the center, and find it exciting to be part of developing the business? Then you are the one we are looking for!

You easily adapt to changes and see opportunities in new circumstances. You value collaboration, are attentive, and communicate in a way that creates constructive solutions. At the same time, you work in a structured manner by planning, organizing, and prioritizing to meet deadlines and achieve set goals.


What you will work with

As a nurse in our medicine departments, you will work closely with doctors, nursing assistants, and other healthcare personnel to create a safe and caring environment. With us, you can grow and develop. Our work climate is characterized by helping each other and placing great importance on good planning and clear routines.

In department 43, you will work with both emergency care and geriatrics, providing care and medical treatment to elderly individuals with complex needs.

In department 62, you will work with general medical care focusing on nephrological and gastroenterological diseases. You will meet people in various situations, both acutely ill and planned patients.

In department 63, you will work with hematological and palliative patients. Here, you will work with the investigation and treatment of both hematological deficiency diseases and advanced treatment of malignant blood diseases. Palliative patients often suffer from complex symptoms and require specialized palliative care, where we strive to provide optimal care and support.

In each department, we have a coordinator who assists with admissions and discharges and with the social planning of patients connected to municipal care. The departments also have team leaders and development leaders, who act as mentors and support in daily work. We offer individual introduction planned according to your needs and experiences. If you are a newly graduated nurse, you have the opportunity to participate in a clinical foundation year as part of your introduction.

Information about the position

The position is permanent, full-time, and involves day, evening, and weekend shifts. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
