We are now looking for a test engineer for our client, focusing on electromechanical and mechanical systems in vehicles. In this role, you will plan, develop methods, and perform testing from component to system level. The work involves using LabView and CANoe as the main programming tools for automation and monitoring of pneumatic, electrical, and/or robot-controlled test rigs. The department also conducts sound and vibration tests. You will work in a team of senior test engineers where you will receive the initial support you need to gradually take on more responsibility, such as test planning.

Examples of tasks:  

• Read and interpret customer specifications and plan test activities based on requirements.
• Develop test methods, test setups, and test configurations
• Construct simple test fixtures yourself or order from colleagues
• Conduct tests on electromechanical products, both in laboratory environments and rigs
• Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations in case of deviations
• Write reports and present results

• Has a post-secondary education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or electrical engineering  
• Possesses good knowledge of both mechanics and electronics
• Has some years of work experience in testing and working with test rigs
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

If you have experience in sound and vibration testing and/or working in Labview and CANoe, we consider it an advantage!

You are a person who values development and gradually taking on more responsibility. In this role, you will work both independently and collaboratively, which requires that you enjoy both aspects.

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that after 6-12 months you will be directly employed by the client.
