Your role and responsibilities
In the role of Service Contract Manager, you will drive both the technical and commercial aspects of our service agreements. You will work closely with the customer and lead the delivery from planning to follow-up – always with a focus on safety, quality, business acumen, and high customer satisfaction.
- Lead and develop service agreements together with our customers – from planning, execution, and follow-up.
- Ensure that all contractual deliveries are executed according to schedule, agreed terms, and ABB's guidelines.
- Be proactive in business and maintenance development and identify upselling opportunities.
- Maintain good customer relationships through clear communication, structured follow-up meetings, and proactive recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams – sales, service coordination, order administration, and technicians – to achieve set KPIs and high-quality contract delivery.
- Conduct financial follow-up and ensure correct documentation, such as annual plans, technical documentation, and checklists.
- Drive renegotiations of existing contracts in collaboration with sales.
Qualifications for the role
We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic role where technology, business, and project management intersect. You are structured, communicative, and passionate about creating value for both the customer and the organization.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in technology, service, or project management.
- Experience in service, maintenance, or project management within industry and/or electrical power (preferable).
- Interest in business development, digitalization, and long-term customer relationships.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate deliveries with significant personal responsibility.
- Travel is included in the position, so a valid driver's license (B) is required.

ABB Electrification Service is a leading provider of products and services for the aftermarket in electrical power, primarily low and medium voltage switchgear. We are now looking for a business-driven Service Contract Manager who wants to be involved in developing our service agreements. In this role, you will contribute to optimizing our customers' facilities through operational reliability, energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainable maintenance. Service agreements are a central part of ABB's growth journey – and you will be a key player in this work.
The role is located in central Sweden, preferably in Västerås.
You will be part of an engaged and competent team of salespeople, coordinators, administrators, and technicians. Together, we deliver world-class service to customers in energy, power grids, water & sewage, paper & pulp, mining, and process industries.
