Focus in your role

As a Strategic Purchaser, you will work with our units in Järnforsen, Landsbro, Vetlanda, and Borlänge. You are central to the work of uniting these operations – where each identity is preserved but where collaborations create strong synergies.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing long-term purchasing strategies with a focus on cost optimization, quality, and delivery precision.
• Creating and maintaining strong relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Negotiating contracts, prices, and terms that provide the best possible value for the business.
• Evaluating and following up on supplier performance based on set KPIs, quality, and delivery times.
• Identifying market trends, managing risks, and adapting purchasing plans to changing conditions.
• Being responsible for the purchasing budget, cost tracking, and process improvements.

If we may wish

We don’t know who you are – yet, but we have a good idea of what you bring with you from previous experiences:

• Post-secondary education in purchasing, economics, engineering, supply chain, or equivalent knowledge based on experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in strategic purchasing or a similar role.
• Documented experience in negotiating and managing supplier contracts is a requirement.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
