Job Description

At Jacobi Carbons AB, we are strengthening our organization in Kalmar and are therefore looking for a Global Buyer. We are a company in constant development with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. You will be offered a developing position in an international environment with engaged colleagues in a strong community.

As a Buyer at Jacobi Carbons, you will be part of a team with competent colleagues and will be responsible for purchasing, supplier relationships, and coordination of administrative tasks related to procurement. You will establish relationships with new and existing suppliers, negotiate contracts and lead times, and follow up on orders. Communication and reporting regarding prices, lead times, and order status internally will be other important aspects of the role.

In your role, you will ensure qualitative purchasing processes, including reviewing/analyzing suppliers and coordinating with both internal and external resources in case of quality deviations or delivery delays.

Jacobi's suppliers are global, which means you will work in an international context. Some travel may occur.

The position is full-time and based at our headquarters in Kalmar. You will report to the Global Supply Chain Procurement Resin Manager.

Qualifications

You who are applying have completed post-secondary education in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain. Having several years of work experience in a purchasing role within companies operating in an international environment is crucial for success in this role.

As a person, you are communicative and structured. You are driven in your work and have a positive attitude. Furthermore, you are analytical and have an easy time seeing logical connections. In your work, you are organized, responsible, and carry out your tasks in a qualitative manner. You have a holistic view that enables you to easily see what needs to be done and how it should be done.

Additionally, you have a solution-oriented approach; in this role, you will handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage them with professional and easygoing control. The role is a very central and important part of our team; as a buyer, you will handle many internal and external relationships, and you are someone who appreciates providing support, assistance, and service.
