About the role
The position of Sales Manager at Topper AB is a completely new role, and its appointment is part of our continued growth journey. You will be based at one of our offices in Västervik or Kalmar, working with both potential and existing customers throughout the county. If you reside in Oskarshamn or another location in the middle of the county, there will be an opportunity for hybrid work for the right person.
As our new Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sales of the entire service offering of Topper AB and Topper Kalmar, which includes demolition, remediation, and drilling services. Additionally, we have a subsidiary that works with surface treatments on floors and ceilings (cleaning, sanding, painting, etc.).
As a Sales Manager, you will:
- Work on acquiring new customers.
- Be responsible for ongoing care and contact with existing customers and clients.
- Collect request for proposals.
- Independently as well as in collaboration with others, calculate jobs and prepare bids and offers.
- Maintain ongoing contact with the potential client during the bidding process.
- Work on upselling.
- Together with other internal functions, be responsible for the financial evaluation of completed projects and for continuously updating and adjusting price lists.
About you
To be successful in the role of Sales Manager, we believe it is important that you naturally thrive in and have experience in a customer-facing role: you enjoy – and know how to – establish a new contact, and are not afraid to work long-term and trust-based. You should also have at least two years of experience in qualified service sales.
We also believe that you have experience working in the construction industry. If your experience is regional, we see it as a significant plus. You should have construction technical knowledge that allows you to independently read blueprints and prepare and submit offers and bids.
As a person, we believe you are independent and proactive with a strong social competence. You are representative, trust-building, and communicative, and value working for an employer that prioritizes doing things correctly, safely, and with a focus on quality.
For this role, it is a requirement that you have a driver's license and some experience traveling for work.

About the company
Topper AB was founded in 2012 in Västervik, with a service offering focused on cleaning and painting metal roofs. Since then, the company has grown, both in terms of service offerings and number of employees. Today, Topper AB is a group with two subsidiaries and a total of around 40 employees, of which nine are office staff, selling and performing services in demolition, remediation, and drilling as well as working with surface treatments on floors and ceilings. We currently operate throughout Kalmar County, with offices in Västervik (Topper AB and Topcoat AB) and Kalmar (Topper Kalmar).
