About the workplace - Källparken

Källparken provides home care services, which means you will work in the users' own homes and support them in their daily lives so they can live a safe, dignified, and independent life. We are based at Källparksgatan 16 B in Uppsala, in a quiet area where our users are close by. Since we work in a smaller area around the park, we use bicycles year-round, avoiding heavy traffic and long distances.

All our employees work day and evening shifts as well as every other weekend. With us, you will be part of a close-knit team that collaborates closely with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to provide safe and individualized care.

You will be part of a warm and welcoming team where we take care of each other and where the sense of community is strong. You meet your colleagues every day, both at work and when we gather for joint meetings.

You will also have the opportunity to help develop the operations. For example, we are currently focusing on digitizing our grocery purchases, which will make the work easier as we will avoid carrying heavy bags and instead have more time for care.

Your tasks

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work in the users' homes and meet people in various life situations. You provide personal care and perform service tasks that make a real difference in their daily lives.

  • collaborate closely with colleagues in the team and contribute to the development of the operations
  • document according to the Social Services Act
  • be a reliable contact for users, relatives, and other important actors.
  • participate in palliative care when needed

Here, we work closely together, support each other, and help each other, always with the user in focus.

  • has experience documenting in their work
  • has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
  • can cycle in all weather conditions

Personal qualities

In this role, we are looking for someone who is calm and secure in their daily work. You meet both users, relatives, and colleagues in a respectful and professional manner. You take responsibility for your tasks, plan your work, and drive it forward independently, while also helping and collaborating with the team when needed.

You enjoy the fact that the job can change quickly at times and can easily adapt when the situation requires it. You see opportunities in changes and enjoy finding good solutions. With your flexibility, drive, and attentive nature, you will become a reliable and appreciated colleague in the daily life of home care.
