Professionals Nord is once again launching this successful program in collaboration with Satellite Group. This time with a new and exciting focus!

Through our initiative, we are shaping the next generation of service technicians, and you could be one of them. During the introductory period via Satellite Group, you will develop skills so that you quickly feel comfortable with the tasks required in the role of service technician.

The initiative is a close collaboration between Professionals Nord and our client. You will then be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for our client for at least 18 months. The goal is for your employment to transition to our client, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Information about the Introductory Period

The introductory period is based on the Accelerated Learning method, where shorter theoretical parts are combined with practical elements to provide you with all the tools you need to succeed in the role. During the period, you will develop in areas such as:

• Power systems and safety
• Measurement and control of installations
• Switchgear, circuit breakers, and component service
• Relay protection and relay training
• Commissioning and troubleshooting
• Power grid analysis and operational optimization

We offer the possibility of study support throughout the entire introductory period.

Timeline

Kick-off event: week 18

Pre-study period: June 15, 2026 – July 10, 2026

Training period: (including internship) July 13, 2026 - September 4, 2026

First working day at our client: September 7, 2026

Scope: Full-time

Location during training: Örebro, Åsbro, Västerås, and digitally

Base location: Skellefteå, Luleå, or Gällivare (traveling position)

Information about the Role

As a service technician at our client, you will have the opportunity to develop in a dynamic environment where technology and problem-solving are at the center. The position involves a varied and practical daily routine where no day is the same. You will work on everything from preventive maintenance to repairs and troubleshooting in a daily routine with a strong practical focus. In all assignments, you will be a key person ensuring that customers receive fast, reliable, and professional service!

The work is mainly conducted during the day at customers in northern Norrland. Due to the large geographical area, travel and overnight stays are a natural part of the job.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a strong technical interest and a natural aptitude for technology
• Has the motivation and interest to make a career change
• Has a high school education (or equivalent) in electrical engineering
• Has passed tests (MAP & Matrigma)
• Is at least 18 years old
• Holds a B driver's license
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English

It is also important that you are problem-solving and want to develop your skills in the job. Additionally, we see that you are stress-resistant, cooperative, and flexible - as the work varies from day to day.
