Property Manager

Are you proactive, self-driven, and able to make things happen? As a property manager, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly on a daily basis. You develop and support everything from schools and nursing homes to swimming pools and other municipal environments.

At the technical office, we are responsible for a wide range of areas including property, street-park, development, and planning. As a property manager, you belong to the property department, which is responsible for new construction and renovation of the municipality's properties, such as preschools, schools, elderly care buildings, and sports facilities. We manage, maintain, and are responsible for the operation of the municipality's buildings, totaling approximately 220,000 square meters.

As a property manager, you work with external property maintenance, nature and park areas, and the care of green spaces. The role also includes supervision of properties, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance as well as the maintenance of playgrounds and bathing areas. We are looking for property managers for two areas, with slightly different focuses. Both positions are permanent employment.

Western Area – Landsbro and Ice Hall

From August to March, the job includes work at the Landsbro Ice Hall, where you work according to a 5-week schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts. During the rest of the year, work is scheduled during the day. In the ice hall, you will be responsible for the daily operation of the facility, operating the ice machine, and ongoing ice maintenance.

Examples of tasks:

• internal property maintenance with minor repairs, supervision, and care
• roof work such as supervision, maintenance, and minor corrective actions
• external property maintenance
• care of green spaces, playgrounds, bathing areas, nature conservation, and park areas
• operating the ice machine, ice maintenance, and daily operation of the ice hall from August to March

Eastern Area – Holsby

This position includes, even during the winter season, continued work with green space maintenance combined with property maintenance, supervision, and ongoing care. The work is scheduled during the day.

• internal property maintenance with supervision, care, and repairs
• roof work in the form of supervision, maintenance, and minor upkeep
• external property maintenance
• care of green spaces, playgrounds, bathing areas, nature conservation, park areas, and canoe trails

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• 3-year high school education
• very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driving license B is required. BE driving license is required for the position in Holsby.
• previous experience in property and green space maintenance
