Maintenance Mechanic Wanted in Värnamo

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our client just outside Värnamo. In this role, you will work with long-term and preventive maintenance in a modern production environment within the metal industry.

The position begins as a temporary hire through Montico, with the ambition to transition into the client's organization.

About the Position

In this role, you will ensure stable and efficient production through planned and preventive maintenance of machines, equipment, and tools. You will have a long-term perspective on maintenance work and actively contribute to improvements that increase operational reliability, quality, and lifespan of the facility and tools. The work is carried out in close collaboration with production and other technical functions.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and planned maintenance on machines, equipment, and tools
• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust mechanical systems during operational disturbances
• Participate in improvement and optimization work related to maintenance strategies and operational reliability
• Work with workshop tasks such as assembly, adjustment, and simpler manufacturing or modification of components
• Document maintenance work and contribute to the development of routines and working methods

We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with good mechanical skills and experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment. The role has a clear focus on preventive and long-term maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of machines. You are accustomed to reading blueprints, interpreting instructions, and documenting completed work accurately. Practical workshop experience and the ability to work with machines, hand tools, and measuring equipment are important. You work meticulously and independently but also have an easy time collaborating with the production team.
