About the job

The cardiac care within Region Halland focuses on improving our processes, increasing accessibility, and making care even better for our heart patients. Outpatient and inpatient care work closely together, and as a nurse in department 41, you will work in a team with nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors. We are now looking for two nurses for full-time positions during days, evenings, and weekends.

About the workplace

We have 20 care places where patients with acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, and arrhythmias are treated. Four of our care places are cardiac intensive care places (HIA), where patients in need of a higher staff density and certain specific medical and nursing measures are cared for. To work in HIA, you will receive additional training.

Most of our patients are monitored with telemetry, and as a nurse in our department, you will be responsible for telemetry readings, which provides a deeper knowledge and understanding of arrhythmias.

We have a day care service where we conduct electrical conversion, pacemaker operations, and PCI activities, and we have a close collaboration with our nurse-led clinics.

About you

You who are applying are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in emergency care and cardiology.

As a person, you are ambitious and professional in your role and have a strong patient focus. As we constantly work in teams, good collaboration skills are very important. You are a person with a positive attitude, who is flexible and has the ability to prioritize. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
