Säterbostäder AB is owned by the municipality of Säter. Today, we own and manage about 1,100 apartments and approximately 60 premises in around 30 residential areas throughout the municipality of Säter. We are moving towards an exciting future with plans for new housing construction. Säterbostäder and the municipality of Säter have a close collaboration, which also means that we perform work on the municipality's properties such as schools, preschools, and special accommodations.

Due to retirement, we now need to replace a position in our team with an additional colleague.

Job Responsibilities

As a property technician, you will play a central role in the daily operations of our properties. You will be the closest contact for tenants and work closely with property management to ensure that our areas function well, feel safe, and are kept in good condition.

The position is varied, independent, and involves both practical work and customer contact.

Your role includes, among other things:

  • Corrective maintenance after fault reports
  • Troubleshooting simpler technical problems in our properties
  • Ordering and following up on minor services and repairs
  • Daily contact and service towards tenants, contractors, and suppliers
  • Supervision of common areas and outdoor environments
  • Information to residents via stairwell messages and digital systems

Your Skills and Personality

We are looking for someone who is technically skilled, service-oriented, and enjoys a role where you work closely with people. You are confident in your professional role, structured, and take responsibility for your tasks.

We would like you to have:

  • High school education or vocational training in property management, operations, or similar
  • Experience in property maintenance or property management
  • Good understanding of technical installations and systems
  • Experience in customer-facing work and good communication skills
  • Familiarity with digital work tools and basic administration
  • Preferable if you have practical experience from trades, such as electrical, plumbing, or construction
  • Preferable if you have worked in the property system Momentum

As a person, you are social, solution-oriented, and want to contribute to a good living environment for our tenants.

The position is full-time and ongoing.

We place great importance on your personality, and social competence is very important to us. We are looking for someone who enjoys working for and with people and sees the value of delivery.

It is a requirement that you are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license.
