We are now looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors during the summer season! You will be a team member in our technical department and be responsible for our green areas.

You enjoy working outdoors regardless of the weather, you are easy to collaborate with, and you always work in a service-oriented and customer-focused manner.

Two of the four positions as park workers will work in the western part of the municipality, Mockfjärd, Dala-Floda, and Björbo, and two are focused on the eastern part of the municipality in the areas of Djurås, Gagnef, and Gagnef Kyrkby. The municipality's technical department also includes carpenters, painters, boiler attendants, property managers, operations technicians, machine operators, and custodians.

Job Responsibilities

You will work, both in a team and independently, with the daily maintenance of the municipality's and Gagnefbostäder's grass areas. This includes mowing with large and small machines as well as trimming.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has machine operator training or other training that the employer deems equivalent, as well as experience in mowing with large machines. You should have knowledge of maintaining and performing simple repairs on machines and be able to read and follow Swedish manuals and instructions.

It is important for us that you can work independently and in a structured manner. We also want you to possess a high degree of initiative, be able to quickly adapt to the demands of the operation, and be responsible and meticulous. To succeed in this position, you need to have good collaboration skills with colleagues and external contacts.

Conditions

The three positions are seasonal work at 100%, from April to September 2026, with a start date in April 2026 or by agreement.

Before employment, a valid extract from the National Police Board's criminal record must be presented.
