JOB DESCRIPTION

Your tasks consist of providing care, help, and support to our residents in the dementia department at Bompabacken's elderly care facility. As a nursing assistant, you are part of the daily work to ensure that individuals maintain good living conditions based on various circumstances and needs. You will collaborate and work solution-focused to meet the individual without infringing on their right to self-determination, integrity, and influence.

A large part of the position involves traditional care and support work.

The assignment may include:

• Promoting social community and employment
• Assisting with personal care such as showering, toilet visits, help with meals, etc.
• Documenting and managing medications (delegation test will be conducted upon employment)
• Planning and implementing daily activities
• Guiding and supporting the individual in a lifestyle that prevents ill health, including diet, physical activity, and social stimulation
• Working pedagogically

The work is scheduled during the day between approximately 07:00-21:30. You will work days or evenings and every other weekend. We have a fixed basic schedule.

We can offer great variation in the work as our operations consist of a dementia department, a special accommodation, and a home care group. We work across departmental boundaries as needed and also work with resource shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. We see a good attitude, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to make a difference for others as important qualities. You also need to master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
