Your New Job

Your tasks will consist of performing care and service work in the customer's home. You will work to strengthen and support the individual's own abilities based on needs and wishes. Furthermore, we always work based on the citizen's implementation plan and assigned care contact, as well as given guidelines and routines. A central part of the work is also social documentation and communication that is included in your tasks. As an employee in home care, you have an important role where you work to provide individualized care and support and social stimulation - always with the individual in focus. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to creating a valuable everyday life for our elderly with a high level of service.

As part of Gränna Home Care, you will be part of a workgroup where you have the opportunity to be involved, take responsibility, and influence your own as well as the organization's development. For those of you who have a commute to Gränna of at least 20 km, you will receive a salary supplement of up to 1500 SEK per month. Your Qualifications

Primarily, we are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant. If you are a nursing assistant with longer work experience from elderly care, it may replace the educational requirement. Previous work experience in elderly care is an advantage. You must master Swedish in speech, writing, and reading comprehension as there will be contact with citizens, relatives, documentation, and reading information related to the work. Social documentation is an important work tool that is digitized, so we prefer that you have good computer skills.

The position requires that you have a B driver's license and can cycle.

Welcome to Us

Gränna Home Care is one of the municipality's home care groups, and the foundation of our operations is a dignified and professional approach characterized by respect, trust, and care. Gränna Home Care currently consists of 32 employees responsible for personal care and service in the customer's home. The facility is located at Gränna elderly home and is well geographically positioned in relation to the home care area; we are also responsible for patrol interventions in the area. We move between citizens' homes using cars or bicycles.

Good to Know

The recruitment concerns 3 permanent positions where the working hours are scheduled for day/evening, weekdays, and every other weekend. Jönköping Municipality strives for full-time as the norm and always offers a 100% employment rate. We work with co-planning, which means that work with several citizens may become relevant. An offer of employment in another operation may also be relevant.
