IVA/IMA cares for patients in need of intensive care as well as patients whose care needs exceed what can be met in a regular ward. Post-op/recovery is also included in IVA/IMA, which is part of the regional operations an/op/iva, and in Sollefteå, we currently have about 40 employees. As a new colleague, you will receive a tailored onboarding with an experienced colleague in your respective unit. You have the opportunity to influence your schedule as we apply a wish schedule.
Our staff group has a positive belief in the department, and we want to develop both the department and ourselves together. We are now looking for an IVA nurse to join our team! The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.
Intensive Care Nurse for IVA/IMA, SollefteåJob ResponsibilitiesAs a nurse with us, you will work with:
- Medical equipment
- Sample collections
- Responsibility for patient care
- Monitoring vital parameters
- Medication management and implementation of prescribed treatment
- Assisting and preparing patients for examinations and treatments
- Handling medical technical products safely
- Supporting, informing, and involving relatives in patient care with an ethical approach.
We are looking for someone who
- Is a licensed nurse with specialized training in intensive care
- Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
- Is able to work three shifts
It is advantageous if you
- Have experience in emergency care
- Have additional language skills
