About the position

As a unit manager with us, you will be responsible for staff, delivery, customers, and finances.

At Karolinska Institutet, you will oversee Nanna Swartz, Svarta Räfven, Café Biomedicen, Café Erik Jorpes, and a number of events and catering. Together with your team, you will be responsible for daily delivery where we constantly aim to provide top-notch service to our customers according to our values: spreading joy, positively surprising, and being available. The job also includes participating in various meetings with customers.

A typical day may involve:

• Ongoing coaching, development, and follow-up of your employees
• Ensuring and developing service quality
• Setting goals and ongoing follow-up of these
• Budgeting, forecasting, and year-end work

We want you to have:

• Education in restaurant management or other similar education/experience
• Good knowledge of finance and what makes a profitable business
• Experience in HACCP and training in food safety and hygiene
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing as well as good computer skills
• Genuine interest and preferably knowledge and experience in sustainability work, as the restaurant is/will be environmentally and quality certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
