The Role of Care Assistant

In this role, you will be responsible for three departments together with a colleague. You will provide care and social support tailored to each care recipient's individual needs. By offering a responsive and professional approach, as well as planning and executing daily activities, you contribute to creating a safe and pleasant environment for the care recipients.

Your Profile

As a person, you are accommodating in your interactions. You are comfortable working independently and take responsibility for driving your work forward. You see opportunities in changes, take initiative, and come up with new approaches to work-related issues. You are empathetic towards people around you and have a good ability to collaborate. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained care assistant
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work

It is an advantage if you have:

• longer experience in care and nursing

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer a permanent position with placement according to agreement. You will work according to a schedule that will be set during night hours and weekend shifts every other weekend.

The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department for Care & Nursing, all employees in home care and care and nursing homes are employed at 100% employment rate, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their desired employment rate based on the needs of the operations. At night, a full-time position is 34 hours and 20 minutes per week.

Background checks may be conducted before employment.

As of July 1, 2023, care assistant is a protected job title.
