Student Informant at the Union ST

The Union ST is the largest trade union within the state sector with 100,000 members working in government agencies, companies, universities, colleges, and state-funded foundations. ST also has members in private companies related to state assignments.

The student activities of the Union ST work to inform students about the job market within the state sector and union organization, as well as to recruit student members and doctoral candidates. We want to ensure that our student members understand their rights and get a good start to their working life, as well as guide and inspire them towards job opportunities in the state.

As a trade union, we work for a sustainable working life and aim to improve members' employment conditions regarding salary, development opportunities, influence, and participation. The union is growing and is in an exciting period of change where many working methods and approaches are under development, and where you can look forward to a varied and developing job.

The Union ST is a member of TCO and politically independent. When we take a stand on political issues, we do so based on the interests of our members and with the aim of improving their conditions, never based on political grounds. Read more about us at www.st.org (http://www.st.org).
