Project Manager for Varbergshus

We are now looking for a Project Manager who wants to take clear ownership of the entire execution of our construction projects while also being an important representative for Varbergshus towards customers, contractors, and other partners.

Your main responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for your own construction projects from order to final inspection. You will be the hub of the projects and work closely with both internal functions and external actors. The role requires both structure and pace – sometimes quick decisions are needed, and sometimes digging into details.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading projects from start to final inspection – including handling any inspection remarks
• Being Varbergshus's contact person and face outward during the project's progress
• Ensuring quality by reviewing construction documents and staying updated on industry regulations
• Establishing and following up on timelines
• Coordinating material preparation and orders
• Conducting site inspections and maintaining ongoing dialogue with customers, authorities, and contractors
• Actively contributing to our continuous improvement efforts
• Participating in workplace and safety initiatives

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who thrives in a role where each day offers both planning, problem-solving, and meetings with people. Your attitude is more important than your exact years of experience – we value potential, a sense of responsibility, and good collaboration highly.

We believe you have:

• Experience in the construction industry, for example from working on-site, project management, contracting, or similar.
• Experience in driving or coordinating projects, either as a project manager, site manager, project engineer, or similar role.
• Familiarity with communicating with various stakeholders – e.g., customers, subcontractors, authorities, and internal functions.
• Good administrative skills and comfort with digital tools (e.g., Excel, project systems, document management).
