About Us

We are looking for a neurologist specialist for our clinic.

The organizational affiliation of the position is within the neurological team that is part of the area of operations for Geriatrics, Neurology, and Rehabilitation.

The neurology clinic works with both primary care and inpatient care. The focus is on patients with epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. The team includes nurses, doctors, neuropsychologists, neurologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, coordinators, and medical secretaries. In our multidisciplinary team, we have the opportunity to collaborate on the management of multi-sick patients through short processing paths.

Angered Hospital (ANS) was completed in 2015. The hospital is a central part of the investment to develop local healthcare for approximately 100,000 residents in northeastern Gothenburg.

Job Responsibilities

• Specialist care, only outpatient, daytime, Monday-Friday.
• Clinic work.
• Ensure that diagnostics and treatment are conducted according to current guidelines and recommendations.
• Contribute to the professional development of employees.
• Be easily accessible for consultation on neurological conditions.

About You

Licensed physician with specialist competence in neurology.

Interest in development and innovative thinking.

Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Good social skills and collaboration abilities are highly valued.

Good Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement. Additional language skills are seen as an advantage.

The operations at ANS are based on the needs of the patients and should be diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive, and strongly quality-driven. Active smoking cessation is an important cornerstone of the hospital's health-promoting work.
