Pajala Municipality is looking for an Information Security Coordinator and Archivist

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The position of Information Security Coordinator is shared and includes both tasks as an Information Security Coordinator and as an Archivist.
As an Information Security Coordinator, you play a role in protecting the municipality's information, whether it exists in digital systems, on paper, or is communicated verbally. Your mission is to prevent information from being lost, manipulated, or falling into the wrong hands.
You are responsible for coordinating both the strategic and operational work within information security, in accordance with the municipality's governing documents. By providing support and guidance to all municipal operations, you contribute to integrating information security into daily work and developing it long-term.
Your main responsibilities as an Information Security Coordinator include:
- contributing to building a good security culture and being a knowledgeable advisor on information security issues
- conducting and coordinating information security activities
- monitoring changes in legislation and events in the external environment and educating managers and employees in your area
- working with processes and methods to conduct information classifications and risk analyses for information security
- representing the municipality in regional networks on information security.
Your main responsibilities as an Archivist include:
- providing advice, support, and training to the entire archive organization regarding archive and information management, following up on the distribution of responsibilities, and ensuring compliance with procedures
- leading and participating in development projects related to archive issues and information management
- developing governing documents such as archive descriptions, classification structures, preservation lists, handling instructions
- organizing, caring for, and cataloging archives according to applicable regulations.
- representing the municipality in regional networks on archive issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
- an academic education that we consider relevant, e.g., archive or information science
- experience in information security work at a comprehensive level in a larger organization
- experience working within archives, preferably in public operations
- very good proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you have:
- education in archive science
- understanding of current legislation in the field of information security, such as GDPR and NIS
- knowledge of ISO 27000.
