We are now looking for an additional strategic buyer with knowledge of and interest in procurement of complex solutions in a technology-intensive environment, who wants to be part of our journey where there is also an opportunity to build and take responsibility for the IT category work.

Svenska kraftnät is one of the most important players for a sustainable energy transition. As a strategic buyer, you will be offered one of Sweden's most important purchasing jobs, in which you will contribute to Sweden's electricity supply every day. Svenska kraftnät is in an expansive phase characterized by large investments aimed at expanding and renewing Sweden's electricity transmission network to meet the energy transition. This also includes investments in the development of smart IT solutions and increased digitalization. We need you to succeed in our socially important mission to electrify Sweden. The procurement function is organizationally placed within the division of Common Functions, which supports the entire business. The division also includes communication, HR, legal department, security and preparedness, property and sustainability, as well as the procurement department.

About the position

In the role of strategic buyer, you will drive the entire procurement process from setting procurement strategy, which includes making decisions on procurement procedures, developing and quality assuring procurement documents, evaluation and negotiation, as well as awarding and leading the contract signing process. You will have the opportunity to shape and develop category work within IT and independently drive and anchor category initiatives together with procurement colleagues and other colleagues in the business.

The position will also include the following responsibilities:

• Develop working methods, routines, and be responsible for the development and management of IT-related procurement templates
• Support and contribute to Svenska kraftnät's strategic work with supplier management
• Identify, analyze, and develop the supplier market
• Provide support to the business in matters concerning contract management
• Assist the business in various procurement-related matters.

The role involves close collaboration with project managers, requirements analysts, IT management, and other support functions such as legal, security, and sustainability. You will have the opportunity to further develop within procurement, and there are great opportunities for personal development within Svenska kraftnät as well as exchanging experiences with colleagues who have long been in the industry.

As a strategic buyer, you belong to the procurement department, unit IT and Indirect. The department currently consists of about 45 employees who work with procurement of both contracts, indirect materials, consultants, IT, and electricity market. The IT and Indirect unit consists of 8 people. Managers and employees within the procurement department actively work with change management to continuously develop the procurement operations characterized by inclusion, team spirit, openness, and collegial atmosphere.

About you

Required qualifications:

Personal qualities:

You are relationship-building both internally and externally and have a high ability to collaborate. You act commercially in your decisions and in your advice to the client and are responsive to the client's needs. You have a holistic view of the business and a strong drive and ability to deliver on time and meet set goals. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Education:

You have a degree as a civil engineer, economist, lawyer, or equivalent competence acquired in another way.

Furthermore, you have:

• At least 3 years of business experience in strategic procurement.
• Experience in IT or other technical operations.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.

Meritorious:

• Experience in purchasing hardware, software, and associated services within IT or similar technical operations.
• Experience in category responsibility and category management.
• Knowledge and experience of procurement within LUF/LOU.

• The position is located in Sundbyberg.
• Possibility of remote work up to 50% depending on what the work requires.
• Travel may occur in this position.
