About the Position

We are currently looking for a CNC operator for one of our exciting clients outside Gnosjö. We prefer that applicants reside in the surrounding area as the position is intended to transition into employment with the client after the hiring period.

In the role of CNC operator, you will work on lathes, primarily STAR machines, where you will program, set up, operate, and monitor the machines. The work involves both small and large series, which requires precision and an understanding of the entire process from start to finished detail.

You will build and adapt programs, retrieve work orders in the business system Jeeves, and work from 2D drawings. An important part of the job is to independently read drawings and ensure that manufactured parts meet the correct quality and dimensions.

The role also includes simpler tool manufacturing and spark erosion. The initial focus is on learning and becoming confident in CNC work, with the opportunity to gradually broaden your skills in other areas of production.

Working hours: Daytime

Your Profile

Requirements:

Previous experience in cutting machining
Relevant education in CNC
Ability to set up machines
Experience with drawings (preferably 2D drawings)
Familiar with documenting in business systems
Willingness to learn and develop

It is an advantage if you can program
