We are now looking for an experienced and skilled butcher to join our team, who will also be responsible for the meat department.

Responsibilities:

• Butchering and handling of meat according to halal standards
• 
  
• Adjusting butchering according to customer requests
• 
  
• Sales and customer service in-store
• 
  
• Responsibility for operations, order, and quality in the meat department
• 
  
• Ordering, inventory control, and product management within the meat range
• 
  
• Quality control of meat products
• 
  
• Ensuring good hygiene and food safety
• 
  
• Daily cleaning and tidying of the workplace and equipment
• 
  
• Following routines for self-control and health requirements

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of documented experience as a butcher/slaughterer
• 
  
• Good knowledge of halal handling of meat
• 
  
• Experience in customer-tailored butchering
• 
  
• Experience in retail sales and customer interaction
• 
  
• Very good organization, hygiene awareness, and sense of responsibility
• 
  
• Attention to health checks, personal hygiene, and work environment
• 
  
• Ability to work independently
• 
  
• Knowledge of Arabic, Kurdish, and/or Turkish, as the store's customer base is multinational

Meritorious:

• Experience from retail, slaughterhouse, or charcuterie
• 
  
• Experience in leadership or department responsibility
• 
  
• Additional language skills
