Other forms of employment may occur depending on the needs of the business.

What does an operator do?

As an operator, you work within our production with the manufacturing of our products – either with one step in our production chain or with the same product from manufacturing to completion, depending on which department you belong to. Safety is of utmost importance in our production, and you work according to the guidelines and processes associated with our operations.

Working hours may involve shift work, and the type of shifts applied varies depending on the needs of the business in each department.

Examples of tasks:

• Operation of automated machines (CNC)
• Manual operations, such as picking or loading
• Quality work, such as measurement and inspection under a microscope

Who are we looking for?

It is important to us that you are a team player with a positive attitude – you do not need to know everything when you start with us, but you need the willingness to learn. We will help you along the way!

To have the right prerequisites, we see that you have the following:

• Technical high school education or equivalent knowledge through work experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Meritorious with knowledge in CNC, process technology, automation, control systems, and manufacturing industry
• Meritorious with knowledge of English

The facility in Gimo is our largest manufacturing unit with approximately 1200 employees. The unit is divided into two industrial areas with several production units that manufacture carbide powders, carbide inserts, drills, end mills, tool holders, carbide blanks, and machine equipment. Our products are used in both larger and smaller industries, such as the automotive and aerospace industries, cutting machining, and wind power.
