Property Technician with a focus on Carpentry

Healthcare Property Services

Healthcare Property Services is responsible for the operation, supervision, and maintenance of parts of the Region's building stock, including the Visby hospital area and the Korpen area.

Our operations play a central role in ensuring safe, functional, and reliable healthcare environments for both patients and staff.

We currently have a team consisting of two supervisors and fifteen property technicians with broad technical expertise in several property technical areas. To maintain high availability and operational reliability, both areas are on call 24/7.

In addition to ongoing operations and maintenance, the unit also performs smaller supplementary work in construction, electrical, and HVAC, as well as other tasks related to property management and operational support.

Your Responsibilities

You will work with operation, supervision, maintenance, repairs, and adaptations of facilities in a technically complex and socially important environment. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues, supervisors, and healthcare operations, where quality, safety, and service are central parts of the mission.

The area includes technically complex property technical facilities that impose high demands on quality, safety, and operational reliability. The work is done in close collaboration with operations where there are requirements for robust and continuous property operations without interruption.

You will have daily contact with both staff and patients, which requires you to have good communication skills, be service-oriented, and handle tasks and situations in a professional and respectful manner.

On-call duty may be included in the position according to the needs of the operation and applicable agreements.

Who Are You?

We see that you, as an applicant, have documented experience as a carpenter. A driver's license (B) is required for the position.

We consider it an advantage if you also have training in property technology, operations, or equivalent, or experience working with property technical systems and property operations. You have documented experience of the above-described or similar tasks.

You have good computer skills and administrative ability, as all reporting is done digitally. You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
