Do you want to be part of the team that ensures everything runs smoothly at our Visby office? Here, you will play an important role where you, with technology, service mindset, and great responsibility, ensure that our premises are safe, pleasant, and in top shape – every day. Does this sound like something for you? Then this could be your next challenge!
What will you do?
As a Facility Service Employee in Visby, you have an important role in ensuring that our physical work environment is both pleasant and functioning as it should – every day. This is a part-time position at 60%, and you will be part of our Facility Management team that keeps our premises in top condition.
You will work on a schedule between 8 AM and 4 PM, and you will have significant responsibility. This means you will be involved in making many decisions with the team and on your own – you always have the team behind you.
You will:
- Be the one who contributes to everything within the team’s area functioning, from office chairs to ventilation
- Coordinate craftsmen, book the right expert at the right time, and be the one who holds the practical aspects together.
- Be able to handle simpler repairs, move furniture, and ensure that technology and furnishings are in the right place.
- Keep track of keys, locks, and access cards together with the team for physical security.
- Ensure that our indoor climate is energy-efficient and comfortable.
- Perform inspections and participate in assessments of fire alarms, electricity, plumbing, and other technical systems related to the operation of the property.
- Drive the daily fire protection work within the area of responsibility as a facility manager.
- Assist in pulling networks and other lines and be responsible for keeping a good eye on other installations in the building, such as electricity, water, etc.
- Manage supplier contacts, follow up on agreements, and ensure that invoices are handled smoothly.
- Support the front desk with tasks such as mail and goods handling when needed.
In short: you are there to ensure that it is easy for others to do their job because you have already ensured that everything around them just works. A great colleague who has everything under control, simply put.
Are you the one who will do this?
To thrive in this role, we believe you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, have an eye for detail, and find it fun to make things run smoothly for others. You are simply someone who gets things done – and whom others enjoy working with.
We hope you bring:
- A few years of experience working with property maintenance and operations. If you have also been involved in pool maintenance or technology related to pools, that’s a plus!
- Good computer skills – you navigate easily in the Office suite.
- A strong sense of service and customer interaction.
- A technical eye and interest in understanding how things work.
- A willingness to collaborate, but also the confidence to make your own decisions when needed.
- Knowledge of fire protection (SBA) and systematic work environment management (SAM).
- A high school education as a foundation. If you have studied anything further in property or operations, that’s great, but not a must.
You don’t need to know everything from day one – but you are someone who is eager to learn new things, likes to keep track, and isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves.
