Bergkvist Siljan is looking for a Planer for our sawmill in Insjön

Job Responsibilities

As a planer, you are responsible for ensuring that the planing process is carried out safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for posting, grinding, preventive maintenance, and ensuring that the products meet the promised quality after planing. You will be part of a team, so we expect you to enjoy working in a group, have good social skills, and be flexible as a person. The job primarily focuses on the planer, but rotation occurs, so you will work in several areas within the finishing department.

As a planer, you play a central role in the flow of the finishing department, from when stacked packages come into the finishing department until finished packages leave.

Requirements and Preferences

• Good computer skills
• Responsible, flexible, and good teamwork skills
• Technically interested
• Experience from similar tasks is an advantage

The job requires you to be self-driven and have a good drive. It is important that you have the ability to see and understand the entire process and the consequences of the actions you take. It is essential that you enjoy working with other people and are not afraid to take your own initiatives. The position will be filled continuously.

Location: Insjön

Working hours: Shift work

Employment: Permanent position after a standard probationary period
