Job Description
Randstad is now seeking a driven and flexible operational buyer for a consulting assignment with our client Siemens Energy in Finspång. In your role, you will primarily be responsible for procuring gas turbine components from external suppliers for our internal customers, who are mostly located in our own workshop. The assignment also involves developing your purchasing area to ensure an efficient supply chain. As an operational buyer, you will be responsible for orders and deliveries from your suppliers according to the agreements established by the strategic buyer. It is important that you follow customer needs and work focused to ensure timely deliveries. You will question and develop your work area and actively work on problem-solving both in the short and long term. This means you will communicate discrepancies in the supply chain, which involves many contacts and close collaboration with individuals both outside and inside the company. The work can be intense at times and requires you to be flexible regarding workload and engagement.

Responsibilities
- Management of purchase orders and invoices
- Delivery monitoring and supplier development
- Drive and lead supplier meetings for ongoing deliveries
- Material planning and process development
- Communication and feedback to customers and suppliers
Qualifications
- We see that you have an education in purchasing or logistics, e.g., economics, industrial economics
- As a person, you are outgoing, driven, and have good collaborative skills both externally and internally
- You are aware of the importance of timely deliveries with the right quality and are stress-resistant with high demands for flexibility, without losing focus
- You address discrepancies as soon as they arise and handle problems in a structured manner while analyzing and developing your work area
- As a person, you are not afraid to question and try new approaches in your daily work and believe that improvement work is naturally part of daily tasks
- You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
- It is a merit if you have worked with purchasing tasks and have good knowledge of SAP and Excel, particularly in working with materials & logistics
