Transport Leader at Loomis

Loomis is a global player and market leader in secure transport and handling of valuable goods. We offer tailored logistics solutions for items such as hunting weapons, precious metals, watches, electronics, and important documents – both nationally and internationally.

We are in an exciting growth phase and are now looking for an experienced Transport Leader for a central role responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring the quality of transports of valuable goods.

About the role
As a Transport Leader, you will be responsible for the daily planning, management, and optimization of Loomis transports – both within Sweden and across borders. The role is operational but also strategic; you will ensure that transports are carried out efficiently, in accordance with legal requirements and internal procedures, and contribute to the development of our processes for secure logistics.

You will be a key person in a close-knit team and work closely with drivers, customers, partners, and internal functions such as operations and security.

Your main responsibilities
Planning, management, and optimization of transports nationally and internationally
Coordination of schedules, resources, and routes
Ensuring that transports comply with applicable safety requirements and international regulations (ADR, IMDG, CMR)
Handling transport documentation, customs papers, and permits
Continuous monitoring and quality assurance of deliveries
Reporting and documentation according to Loomis procedures and legal requirements

We are looking for someone who has
At least 5 years of experience in transport management, logistics, or freight forwarding
Experience with security-classified transports and ADR is highly meritorious
Good knowledge of international transport regulations and customs handling
Very good system skills, especially in transport management systems and Excel
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Post-secondary education in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding is meritorious
